Overview
The KL-LED-STZ5 Camera System provides operating room teams with a fully integrated solution for both surgical illumination and high-definition field documentation. Dual multi-petal LED lamp heads deliver uniform, shadowless light across the operative field, while the ceiling-mounted HD camera captures crystal-clear video and still images simultaneously, supporting precise surgical decisions and real-time team collaboration.
At the heart of the imaging subsystem is the MH-DFC210-SR HD surgical field camera, which pairs a 1/2.8" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor with 10× optical zoom to cover everything from wide field overviews to close-up tissue detail. The 3G-SDI output transmits the full 1920 × 1080 stream to the paired HD medical monitor over a single cable. Focus modes — Auto, Semi-auto and Manual — and horizontal field of view adjustment from 58.6° to 6.4° give the operating team flexible control without interrupting the procedure. Image freeze is supported for still capture, and the 3G-SDI interface provides a standard pathway for integration into hospital AV systems.
Ceiling suspension arms allow smooth repositioning of both the lamp heads and the camera. The HD medical monitor displays the live surgical view for the entire team, while the additional panoramic camera and optional recording server — shown in the system overview — support documentation, remote consultation and resident teaching. The design is built to IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-2 electrical safety and EMC standards, as indicated on the camera datasheet.
